For mums, whether you are a working or stay at home mum, upskilling can help make yourself more valuable, open doors to opportunities and even discover new passions. 

How can the SkillsFuture help mums to upskill?

The SkillsFuture is a national movement to encourage individual ownership of skills enhancement and lifelong learning. All Singaporeans aged 25 and above would receive an initial sum of S$500 SkillsFuture credits to pay for training courses. 

SkillsFuture: How to get started

Starting your learning journey is easy. 

Simply search for relevant courses, decide and register directly with the training provider to enrol for the course. You may then submit a claim and attend the course.

To check your credit balance, you can log in to your account at with your Singpass. An amount of your available credit is reflected in ‘SkillsFuture credit’, where you can also submit a claim via the same tab. You can submit your claim for SkillsFuture Credit usage within 60 days before, and up to, the course start date.

Professional Image and Personal Grooming 

Learn to groom and dress for both corporate and social settings. Through a series of activities, group discussions, role plays and demonstrations, this interactive course teaches you how to groom and dress for both corporate and social settings.

Floral Arrangement
Floral Arrangement & Design Fresh Bouquet & Preserved Floral Arrangement

Learn the techniques of creating a Bell Jar with preserved flowers and a hand tied bouquet with fresh flowers. The course includes helpful tips on how to choose and condition fresh flowers and the fundamental spiral technique used to create a bouquet. 

You will also learn how to dry the flowers, treat and wire the preserved blooms together in a Bell Jar as a decorating piece, which will last up to one year.
